On 11th December 2007, I quitted my job as a software developer with a leading international company. The reason of termination was not due to bad conditions or unhappy with the way how things were being managed but because I had a vision… that of starting my own business.

As a 22 year old guy, who has just finished reading a degree in IT, it was very tough to take such a decision. But with the help of some people such as ex-colleagues and relatives I managed to make an informed decision, that of following my dreams.

In order to help me look forward and stay focused, I started to read books and articles about successful people especially entrepreneurs. This helped me to realise that even entrepreneurs of established businesses had their difficult times. If it wasn’t for the determination and courage of their founders, who never lost focus, most of todays successful businesses do not exist.

What will SuccessfulFootsteps contain?

SuccessfulFootsteps will have a mixture of two types of posts. The first type of posts will be stories of successful people with more emphasis on online entrepreneurs, who even though they found obstacles in their way to success, they manage to reach their goals and exceed them. The other component of this blog will be made up of my humble opinion about success. I will write up what I think is worth noting in order to become a successful person.
